Moon Looks On

Moon Looks On are an Irish band based primarily in Dublin, .Their sound encompasses a fusion of both modern contemporary folk and soul, with little dabs of reggae, blues, country and pop. The bones of the music are built around the songs told as stories and then layered on a pulsating bass and drums backline, then weaved together with the harmonically and melodically rich sound of violin and piano playing counterpoint to one another.
2016 was a massive year for the band who zigzagged the country performing all over Ireland including 2 shows at The Electric Picnic, Westport festival, Sligo Live, 2 appearances at TheRuby Sessions, Levis in Ballydehob, Whelans Ones To Watch, We Bloom Sessions in The Workmans, Live and Lyrical in The Opium Rooms,Sine E,and to finish out the year the band were one of 6 acts chosen to perform in the Other Voices IMRO Other Room and also on the Music Trail.
