The truth is still out there and it requires one of Hollywood’s most capable and established writers to tell it once again. Four-time Emmy winner and Oscar nominee Terence Winter, famed for his work on The Sopranos, Boardwalk Empire – L’impero del crimine, and The Wolf of Wall Street, is joining forces with Dan Farah, the director and producer of the groundbreaking documentary The Age of Disclosure, to develop a television series based on the forthcoming memoir by former intelligence official Jay Stratton, a central figure in the recent U.S. government investigations into Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (known as UAP, the term that has replaced the old acronym UFO) and into non-human intelligent life forms.
Out of the Shadows: Terence Winter’s New UAP TV Series
Described by Farah as the real-life counterpart to Fox Mulder of X-Files, Stratton and his work have “changed the course of history.” In his memoirs, titled Out of the Shadows, the former intelligence official offers “a startling, first-hand account of shocking discoveries, encounters, challenges, and behind-the-scenes revelations that have not only profoundly altered his understanding of humanity’s place in the universe, but have also had a troubling impact on him and his family.” Winter added: “Across the span of humanity, people have wondered whether we are the only intelligent life form in the universe. Jay Stratton’s extraordinary true story answers that question and more, delving into the world of U.S. government investigations into UAP and non-human intelligent life forms.”
Stratton recounted that, while his family was initially unaware of his discovery—that we are not alone in the universe—”everything changed when we began experiencing UAP activity and encounters with intelligent non-human life forms right in our own home, and my wife and my children saw them with their own eyes.” A key figure in Farah’s successful documentary, which, as Steven Spielberg has stated, helped pave the way for his latest film Disclosure Day, Stratton described uncovering an eighty-year cover-up pertaining to extraterrestrial life forms, detailing his battle against the powerful “keepers” who concealed the truth.
“Out of the Shadows carries the gripping storytelling of a high-tension political thriller,” Farah stated. “It takes us behind the scenes of the U.S. government’s investigation into the greatest mystery of all time. At the heart of the story is the price—deeply personal and devastating—that Jay’s pursuit of the truth has exacted from him and his family. We intend to explore this aspect further in our series.”
