Adria Arjona Against All Odds in Onslaught: New Italian Trailer

Arriving in cinemas on October 1 with I Wonder Pictures is the new film by Adam Wingard, the director of Godzilla vs. Kong and Godzilla and Kong: The New Empire, but also of stark and gripping horror such as You’re Next and The Guest. Produced by A24, the film is titled Onslaught – Final Assault, and it is an action thriller that indeed skirts the horror Wingard co-wrote with his longtime collaborator Simon Barrett.
The story of the film centers on Celeste, a single mother and former U.S. Army sniper who lives in an isolated community in the New Mexico desert. Haunted by her past in the military, Celeste is forced to return to the formidable fighter of old when three genetically modified supersoldiers escape from a secret government base, triggering an unprecedented carnage and targeting her and her daughter Daisy.
To protect the girl, Celeste will have to turn the desert into a battlefield and unleash hell.
In the role of Celeste there is Adria Arjona, delivering a physically demanding and intense performance, built through rigorous tactical training and extensive character work. The actress, among the most sought-after faces of her generation, has impressed audiences and critics with Hit Man – Killer by Chance from Richard Linklater and with the role of Bix Caleen in the series Andor. Awaited alongside Michael B. Jordan in the new The Thomas Crown Affair, Arjona has also been announced in James Gunn’s cast for Man of Tomorrow, the new chapter of the DC Universe due in 2027.
In the cast also Dan Stevens, directed again by Wingard after The Guest and Godzilla and Kong – The New Empire, Rebecca Hall, Drew Starkey, Michael Biehn, an icon of Terminator and Aliens, Reginald VelJohnson, Eric Wareheim and UFC champion Alex Pereira in his film debut as the most formidable of the supersoldiers.
