The official trailer for Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger has arrived, the eagerly awaited documentary devoted to the legendary British band led by Liam and Noel Gallagher, which will world premiere Out of Competition at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival. Produced by Magna Studios, presented by Sony Music Vision, the film will arrive on September 10 in Italian cinemas, before streaming exclusively on Disney+ on a global level by the end of the year.
Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger was conceived by screenwriter, producer and director Steven Knight, who entrusted the directing duties to Dylan Southern (the director of the notable The Shadow of the Crow), who co-directed it with Will Lovelace, with whom he had already created Shut Up and Play the Hits, a documentary on LCD Soundsystem, and Meet Me in the Bathroom, about New York’s underground music scene in the early 2000s. Leading the creative and technical team are also Oscar-winning sound mixers James Mather (Top Gun: Maverick, Belfast) and Tarn Willers (The Zone of Interest), along with director of photography Haris Zambarloukos (Belfast, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice) and editors George Cragg and Martina Zamolo.

Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger tells the triumphant reunion tour of Liam and Noel Gallagher, “Oasis Live ’25”, one of the most anticipated rock ‘n’ roll comebacks of our time. The film is an exhilarating account of what is, without doubt, the biggest musical event of 2025, and captures the experience and emotions of the band and its fans around the world. The unique perspective includes access to rehearsals, backstage and on stage, as well as the first joint interviews with Noel and Liam after more than 20 years. Alongside the band’s sold-out world tour, the film also explores the deep emotional impact of this phenomenal global cultural moment and what their music means to audiences and generations around the world.
