Avengers Doomsday: Official LEGO Trailer

The true Avengers: Doomsday will hit Italian cinemas from December 16, but in the meantime Marvel fans can let their imaginations roam with this official LEGO version trailer, uploaded on Marvel’s regular channel. It serves as a fine pretext to reaffirm and sustain a very long partnership between the world of Disney and LEGO, which has already given rise to reinterpretations not only of the superhero realm but also of the Star Wars and Indiana Jones universes (and for the competition there have been incursions into Harry Potter territory).

Avengers: Doomsday, the Marvel Studios cyclone draws near

With a resurrected Robert Downey Jr. but in the guise of Dr. Doom / Destiny, that is, the villain of the piece, Avengers: Doomsday from the Russo brothers would have the power to reboot the cinecomic phenomenon definitively: last year’s Fantastic Four: The Origins wasn’t a huge success, but this year’s box office triumph exceeding $2 billion for Spider-Man: Brand New Day shows there’s life in the genre when a major event triggers it. And it seems that the event has certainly fired up for this colossal ensemble of superheroes, since for Doomsday pre-sales are already very high and could seal a 2026 that is decisively positive for the Marvel universe (which, however, must always share any Peter Parker triumph with Sony). There shouldn’t be many surprises, because the DC / Warner rivals are licking their wounds from the flop of Supergirl, and Clayface in theaters on October 22 appears to be a more niche experiment with horror-tinged undertones. Doomsday will draw attention not only for the crowd of stars: Chris Evans, Anthony Mackie, Chris Hemsworth, Sebastian Stan, Vanessa Kirby, Pedro Pascal, Florence Pugh, David Harbour, Paul Rudd, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Rebecca Romijn, Tom Hiddleston, Alan Cumming, Channing Tatum, Wyatt Russell, James Marsden, and possibly more surprises…
