After ten years away from the spotlight (she had retired in 2014, and in 2025 she returned to acting in the Netflix comedy Back in Action with Jamie Foxx), Cameron Diaz has resumed work with a steady pace: she appeared in Jonah Hill’s film Outcome, she will once again provide the original voice of Fiona in Shrek 5, and she will soon star in a new romantic comedy. But first, from December 11, we will be able to see her on Netflix streaming as the lead of the action comedy titled Bad Day, in which she plays the role of a single mother who fights to keep a small promise made to her daughter on the worst day of her life.
Bad Day – of which you can see the first official trailer below – was written by Laura Solon and directed by Jake Szymanski; in the cast alongside Cameron Diaz are Ed O’Neill, Danielle Brooks, Sam Richardson, Ben Schwartz and Mark Duplass.
