From November 25 onward, on Apple TV School for Brave Warriors, a coming-of-age story drawn from the eponymous bestseller by former Navy SEAL Jocko Willink.
Directed by McG, the filmmaker behind titles such as Charlie’s Angels and Terminator Salvation, the film features Chris Pratt, Linda Cardellini, and the young Jude Hill. The latter plays Marc, a good-natured kid who is bullied by his classmates and who feels left behind in nearly everything, from academics to physical education, even when it comes to simply making friends. The situation shifts when his uncle Jake (Chris Pratt), a decorated Navy SEAL arrives to spend the summer and recuperate alongside Marc and his mother, Sarah (Linda Cardellini).
To help Marc stand up for himself, Jake devises an ambitious program he calls Operation Warrior Kid, grounded in his SEAL training. Rather than teaching his nephew how to fight, Jake shows Marc what true courage looks like, while also confronting his own inner demons.
The film’s Italian official trailer is available, which we present below:
