Craving Romance? Nobody Wants This 3 Will Heat Up Autumn — Release Date Revealed

Autumn is set to be tinted pink: Nobody Wants This, the romantic series featuring Kristen Bell and Adam Brody, is about to return with a third season that promises to be even fizzier and full of surprises. Netflix has scheduled the debut of the new episodes for October 22, 2026, ten episodes in total, and accompanied the announcement with the first official images. After the ups and downs of the second season, Joanne and Noah are finally ready to live their relationship without any questions about their future together. But that doesn’t mean the complications are over.

Nobody Wants This 3: The plot and previews of season 3

The big novelty of the third season is that Joanne and Noah will move in together. The couple will find themselves facing all those little and big “firsts” that accompany building a shared life: from the new house to the daily routine, up to the most romantic moments. As stated to Tudum, the writers’ goal is to preserve exactly the dynamic that has won over the audience: Joanne and Noah must continue to be co-conspirators, funny, and flirtatious even now that their relationship has become stable. In short, no more “will they or won’t they?” but a new question: how will they manage to make their love work?

Their serenity, however, will serve as a counterpoint to the other protagonists’ stories. After the breakup, Sasha (Timothy Simons) and Esther (Jackie Tohn) will find themselves navigating the complicated world of dating in Los Angeles. Sasha, in particular, will begin to discover the fun side of single life, while between him and Morgan (Justine Lupe) something will emerge that’s hard to ignore. Meanwhile, Morgan will see her career take off thanks to the podcast’s success, bringing her ever closer to becoming a real media personality. The rivalry between the two sisters, already present in previous seasons, could thus evolve.

The cast and the new characters of season 3

The third season will further expand the cast with several new faces who appear in these first photos. Andrew Rannells (Girls) will portray Sebastien, Joanne’s foe during her conversion; Keyla Monterroso Mejia will be Amber, a single woman enrolled in the Introduction to Judaism course and determined to find a Jewish husband. Among the new entries, Sarah Silverman appears as Rabbi Eden, an eccentric and warm teacher who will become an important presence for Joanne and Noah. Avan Jogia will play Travis, a self-assured man who loves to provoke Joanne. Particularly intriguing will be the appearance of Erin Foster, the show’s creator, who will make her on-screen debut in the role of Nicole. The character is described as a chaotic, self-destructive, and still-single version of what Joanne could have become.

Completing the new additions are Poorna Jagannathan as Eleanor, Sadie Sandler as the young psychic Denise, Stephanie Koenig as Poppy, and Steven Weber as Julian, a divorced father described as funny, balanced, and self-assured.

Nobody Wants This 3 thus aims to maintain the light romantic tone that has enamored audiences. The date is set for October 22, 2026, streaming on Netflix.
