Karen Page is one of the main characters of Daredevil and of the revival Daredevil: Rebirth, distributed for streaming on Disney+ and to date made up of two seasons with a third on the way in March 2027. Naturally, the new cycle of episodes cannot do without Deborah Ann Woll, who from the outset has played Matt Murdock’s right-hand woman and has become his love interest. But could Karen ever appear in other MCU projects? The actress recently addressed this curiosity, explaining what would be her only condition to respect.
After Daredevil: Rebirth, will we see Karen Page elsewhere in the MCU? Here’s what Deborah Ann Woll thinks
Deborah Ann Woll has starred in Daredevil starting from the first episode released in 2015 and later reprised the role of Karen in the revival: in the first season of Daredevil: Rebirth she appeared far less than the other characters, but made up for it in the second season by becoming a key part of the vigilante mission in New York against Wilson Fisk. What happened at the end of the second season hints at a difficult position for Matt Murdock, who revealed his double identity and will have to face the consequences in the third.
The help of Karen will be more valuable than ever in this phase, but looking ahead at the character’s future, the actress said she’s open to the idea of considering other projects in the MCU. Speaking at the Daredevil panel at the Rose City Comic-Con 2026, Deborah Ann Woll told Screen Rant what she prefers between the broader MCU and operating as street heroes: “It depends on the content and the context. I love superhero stories set in urban environments. That’s what excites me about the superhero stories we’re making. And indeed, even when our TV series takes on a somewhat magical tone and begins to move in that direction, I still think I prefer it as it was before.”
The actress also admitted that she much preferred the first Daredevil suit worn by Charlie Cox precisely because it gave the impression of something “purchased at a thrift store, because it looked realistic, plausible and cool.” She added that she would rather see Daredevil involved with New York City’s crime rather than dealing with alien threats or multiversal perils as the Avengers do. In any case, she did not rule out the possibility of a future appearance by Karen in other projects, provided the cameo is written “in a legitimate way, that it feels fun and fits the film, but it must also be faithful to who was in that context, so yes, in that case absolutely.”
Karen Page has also appeared in The Punisher and in the special episode The Punisher: One Last Kill, distributed on Disney+, as her character is close to Frank Castle. The latter, however, has been involved in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, unlike Karen Page.
