Mattia, Luigi, Massimo and Riccardo are four friends and former university classmates who live in Rome, and they must navigate the rapid changes that define today’s society. These young men are called to adapt to a world that is no longer what it used to be, based on patriarchal models; thus, they find themselves taken aback when their girlfriends and life challenge their male authority. Doubts, insecurities, and jealousies gradually emerge, leading them toward an absolutely essential emotional reeducation. Maschi Veri is a bright Netflix-produced comedy that brings to light the fragilities of contemporary men with sharp irony, but above all, with the same irony, it deconstructs the so-called alpha male. If this TV series — featuring a fine Italian cast, including Maurizio Lastrico, Matteo Martari, Pietro Sermonti, Francesco Montanari in the lead roles — has pleased you, then we recommend three other TV series that, without a doubt, could be right up your alley.
