Funda is a painter with a thick mane of red hair and a few quirks. After the birth of her first daughter, she is driven by a strong urge to rediscover herself, starting from her work; so, together with her husband, Ilker, the artist decides to hire a nanny to help manage the baby. In the end, the struggling Funda thinks the best move she can make is to opt for Nazli, a young woman who appears as loving as she is suitable for the babysitter role. It’s a pity that, shortly after Nazli’s arrival in the house, the atmosphere within begins to grow increasingly unsettling. Observing the girl’s strange behavior, the protagonist starts to suspect that her presence there is not a coincidence, and that perhaps she is hiding a lurid secret. Unfortunately, Funda’s intuition will not be wrong. So chi sei is a Netflix thriller miniseries where psychological tension runs sky-high.
