The adieu of Emily in Paris will be Netflix’s “gift” for the upcoming Christmas. The streaming service has announced that the sixth and final season of its hit series, created by the Sex and the City mastermind Darren Star and starring Lily Collins, will be available from December 24, 2026, with all episodes.
“I wanted the last season of Emily in Paris to be the biggest yet,” Star commented in a press release accompanied by the first official photos of this concluding chapter, whose filming is still underway in France. “In this season we visited several locations and Greece was one of the destinations we really wanted to showcase in a spectacular way. This is the beauty of Europe: it takes so little to find yourself in another extraordinary place, another culture, another adventure. I wanted the audience to travel alongside Emily.”
Emily in Paris 6: What to Expect in the Final Season?
Among new ambitions and new loves, Emily will face pivotal choices that will test her loyalty. But when unexpected professional conflicts and evolving relationships push her to rethink where her future truly lies, she will have to make one final decision between her career, her heart, and the life she has built in Paris.
As mentioned, in the final season Emily will leave the City of Light for a new Mediterranean adventure that will take the series to the breathtaking atmospheres of Greece, but also the Principality of Monaco. After the Italian pit stop of the previous cycle (between Rome, Venice and other locations), the last time Emily had returned to Paris was after the end of her relationship with Marcello. Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) had been promptly informed by Sylvie and he had sent her a postcard from the yacht on which he is currently employed as a chef, asking her to meet him on the Balkan Peninsula. We will find out in a few months how it will all end.
