Marco Maisano returns to discuss the disappearance of Denise Pipitone and leads a 4-episode docuseries, one new episode each week, streaming on NOW from today, October 26, 2026. The program offers exclusive access to Denise Pipitone’s mother, Piera Maggio, the one who keeps the focus on her daughter’s case alive and who continues the search despite everything and everyone.
Denise disappeared on September 1, 2004 from her mother’s home, while she was playing. The initial investigations focused on family disputes between Maggio and Denise’s biological father, Piero Pulizzi, and the main suspect was identified as Denise’s half-sister, Jessica Pulizzi, accused of harboring jealousy toward the child but later cleared in the investigations for lack of evidence. Over time there have been sightings in Italy and abroad, false and mistaken leads, DNA tests on girls who might have resembled Denise, but the truth has not yet come to light. It will be precisely on this, with the help of the revelations of Piera Maggio, that Troviamo Denise – Storia di una bambina scomparsa will focus, taking us to relive one of the most terrible crime events of the last twenty years and to reflect on what really happened.
