Brawn GP was born, a team lacking major sponsors that nevertheless managed to mount a Mercedes engine on its chassis and exploit the “double diffuser,” a feature of the new aerodynamic regulations. Despite the difficulties, driver Button and the rest of the team achieved an ambitious objective, performing something of a sporting miracle.
