It is titled Se domani non torno, the film directed by Paola Randi, which tackles one of the events that has left a lasting mark on the recent history of our country: the femicide of Giulia Cecchettin. Written by the director herself together with Lisa Nur Sultan, drawing from the book “Cara Giulia” written by her father, Gino Cecchettin, together with the writer Marco Franzoso and published by Rizzoli, the film will premiere Friday, October 23 in the program of the twenty-fourth edition of Alice nella città and the twenty-first edition of the Festa del Cinema di Roma, before hitting theaters on Thursday, November 5 distributed by Notorious Pictures.
The cast includes Filippo Timi, Tecla Bossi, Sabrina Martina, Tommaso Allione, Linda Caridi and Elisabetta De Palo, while the production is Notorious Pictures in collaboration with Mediaset, Sky Cinema and Fondazione Giulia Cecchettin. Se domani non torno seeks to go beyond a chronicle, restoring the value of a testimony that has managed to open a public discussion on gender-based violence, on education and on collective responsibility.
