The story of Heart of the Beast – Nel Profondo Selvaggio follows James Belmont, a Special Forces officer who, after a dramatic plane crash, finds himself scattered in the most remote areas of Alaska. With him is only Odin, the military dog who has accompanied him on missions and extreme operations. Far from any form of help, the two must face the cold, the predators, and a hostile nature, counting above all on their bond to manage to survive.
Beyond Brad Pitt, the cast also features J.K. Simmons and Anna Lambe. At the heart of the story remains the relationship between James and Odin, a bond that the film uses to transform a classic survival tale into a narrative about courage, resilience, and the ability to protect those you love.
