Edoardo Bove collapses during the Serie A match between Fiorentina and Inter, on December 1, 2024. A dramatic episode that triggers panic inside the stadium and affects those watching the game live. A heart problem that interrupts the very promising trajectory of one of the brightest young talents in Italian football, who grew up in Rome, opening a completely new chapter of his life.
The months that followed that event are chronicled in the documentary In a Beat, directed by Giovanni Troilo. From that moment, Edoardo faces a future that has suddenly become uncertain: will he return to playing? Will he still be able to do it in Italy? And who is Edoardo off the pitch? The film had its world premiere at the Rome Film Festival 2026 in the Special Screening section.
Precisely on the occasion of the festival we met Edoardo Bove together with Giovanni Troilo in this video interview.
