Exactly two years to the day after the resounding success of Diamanti, Ferzan Ozpetek returns to our cinemas on December 17 with his new film titled Nella Gioia e Nel Dolore, an ensemble drama that features in its rich cast Vanessa Scalera, Sabrina Ferilli, Luca Argentero, Miguel Ángel Silvestre, Mara Venier, Carmine Recano, Alvise Rigo, Erik Tonelli, Marco Aceti, Franco Ciotoli, Milena Mancini, Giselda Volodi, Loredana Cannata, Geppi Cucciari, Liliana Bottone, Lorenzo Franzin, Andrea Ai Luigi and Milena Vukotic, with the friendly participation of Amanda Lear.
Scritto dallo stesso Ferzan Ozpetek insieme a Carlotta Corradi e Elisa Casseri, il film, prodotto da Marco Belardi Production, Faros Film, A1 Picture e Vision Distribution, in collaborazione con Sky, vede protagonista Adriana Parigi, una diva del cinema, celebrata e amata non solo dal pubblico ma anche nel privato. She has a close circle of friends with whom she shares a deep bond, a marriage that has evolved over time, and a hidden, elusive yet passionate love that she has never truly lived.
