Lizzy Caplan Stars in Drag — Home-Invasion Thriller Trailer

Lizzy Caplan is an actress we’ve grown fond of and find incredibly personable, ever since she brought to life characters like Janis Ian in Mean Girls (one of the last great teen comedies of our era) or Marlena in Cloverfield. More recently, she portrayed Lula May in the Now You See Me films and starred in television series such as Master of Sex, Castle Rock, and Fatal Attraction. One of her more current projects is Drag, a film that sits somewhere between thriller and dark comedy. It premiered worldwide at SXSW and has since appeared at several international festivals, with a US release scheduled for January 29.
Written and directed by Raviv Ullman and Greg Yagolnitzer (both making their feature debuts), Drag follows the story of two sisters with a strained relationship who decide to pull off a robbery by breaking into a secluded house in the woods of New York. The trouble begins when, during the break-in, one of the sisters—played by Caplan—suffers a serious back injury that leaves her immobilized on the second floor: tension and panic mount quickly, especially when the homeowner returns, followed by someone else. The surprises don’t stop there.
The role of the second sister is inhabited by Lucy DeVito, Danny DeVito’s daughter, who produces the project alongside her father, while John Stamos plays the homeowner and Christine Ko the guest.
This is the official trailer for Drag.
