“Some stories can change everything. They mark the before and the after,” reflects Ruby (Harriet Herbig-Matten) in the first teaser trailer for the final season of Maxton Hall, expected to stream on from December 9, 2026. Indeed, in this last chapter she and James (Damian Hardung) will have to fight even harder against that “world between us” mentioned in the Italian subtitle of the series.
The Plot of Season Three
In the upcoming season, still inspired by the novels of Mona Kasten (specifically the third volume Save Us), Ruby will not face an easy situation. According to the synopsis, she has been suspended from Maxton Hall College. Her dream of going to Oxford is therefore fading, but she refuses to give up. Together with James, she fights to prove her innocence. The closer they get to the truth, the more it threatens to destroy everything. “Friendships are tested and unexpected secrets come to light. In the end, they will have to decide: is love enough?”, warns Prime Video.

Maxton Hall – The World Between Us, a classic enemies-to-lovers story between a brilliant and ambitious student and a wealthy and arrogant boy used to getting whatever he wants, has proven to be a phenomenon capable of captivating audiences around the world. The series has, in fact, become Prime Video’s most successful international scripted Original production in the platform’s history, and season 2 reached the top of the platform’s Top 10 in almost 100 countries — including Germany, the United States and the United Kingdom — during its week of release. We can only expect a finale worthy of the anticipation.
The Cast of Maxton Hall 3
Naturally, alongside Ruby and James, many of the characters who accompanied the story in the early seasons will return. In the cast of the third season we will also see Sonja Weißer in the role of Lydia, Eidin Jalali as Graham, Ben Felipe as Cyril, Fedja van Huêt as Mortimer and Runa Greiner as Ember. They will also return Justus Riesner as Alistair, Govinda Gabriel as Kesh, Andrea Guo as Lin, Frederic Balonier as Kieran, Eli Riccardi as Elaine and Dagny Dewath as Ophelia.
