Maxton Hall 3 Release Date: Ruby and James Unite in Latest Season Poster

For Ruby and James, the moment has arrived to write the final chapter of their story. After months of anticipation, Prime Video has finally revealed the exact release date for Maxton Hall – The World Between Us 3: the third and final season of the German series will debut on December 9, 2026, bringing back Harriet Herbig-Matten and Damian Hardung to portray the beloved Ruby Bell and James Beaufort.

Maxton Hall 3: Release Date and Official Poster Awaiting Trailer

The announcement was among the most awaited by fans of the series, which in a very short time had become an international phenomenon, and now the countdown can officially begin. The final chapter will consist of six episodes. Along with the announcement, the first poster for Maxton Hall 3 was released, placing the central focus on the lead couple. And you won’t have to wait until December to get a first taste of the new season: it seems that on September 3 there will be an (as-yet-unspecified) preview of the final episodes, most likely a first teaser trailer.

The Plot of the Final Season: Ruby and James Confront the Toughest Test

The new season is once again inspired by the novels of Mona Kasten and, in particular, by Save Us, the third and concluding volume of the bestselling trilogy published in Italy by LYX. The story will resume from a situation far from easy for Ruby. According to the official synopsis, the protagonist has been suspended from Maxton Hall College and her dream of attending Oxford risks fading just when it seemed closest. Ruby does not want to give up. By her side will be James, ready to help her demonstrate her innocence. Their alliance will bring them closer to the truth, but discovering what truly happened could have devastating consequences.

Friendships will be put to the test and some secrets that have remained hidden until now will finally come to light. Ruby and James will have to face not only what happens around them, but also their own fears and the consequences of their choices. The question that will accompany the entire season will be inevitable: will the love between Ruby and James be able to withstand everything?

Dove eravamo rimasti? Il recap delle prime due stagioni

The strength of Maxton Hall has always lay in the relationship between its two protagonists. Ruby Bell is a brilliant and ambitious student who arrived at the exclusive college thanks to a scholarship. Her goal is to keep a low profile, focus on her studies, and realize her dream: being admitted to Oxford. Everything changes when Ruby accidentally discovers a compromising secret involving the Beaufort family. James, rich, arrogant and used to getting what he wants, becomes involved in the situation and does everything possible to prevent Ruby from revealing what she has discovered. Between them arises a clash of provocations, quips, and misunderstandings. But what seems to be merely a rivalry gradually transforms into an attraction impossible to ignore. With the third season, Maxton Hall – The World Between Us prepares to bid farewell to the audience after captivating viewers around the world. The series has indeed become the most successful international scripted Original production in Prime Video history and is available on the platform in over 240 countries and regions.

The Cast of Maxton Hall 3
