The official trailer for Musk has landed online, a four-hour documentary by Oscar-winner Alex Gibney, presented at the Venice Film Festival, focused on one of the world’s most powerful and megalomaniacal ultra-rich figures, Elon Musk. The director, who has earned an Academy Award, investigates from every angle, including testimonies from people who have known him well, about a highly influential figure, the gap between myth and reality, Tesla and SpaceX, Nazi salutes and other outbursts by Musk, but also about the offspring he has sown across the globe (14 official children, though reportedly many more), all while he has never been a hands-on father. The man who was decisive in Donald Trump’s second election did not take it well and not only did he not participate but is doing everything possible to prevent the release, or at least the awareness of the film’s existence. It seems the trailer itself is having significant trouble circulating online and, aside from X, Musk’s property, several other channels have refused to run paid advertisements for the film.
