It will premiere in theaters on the upcoming 12 November with the new film from David Leitch, who is the former stuntman turned director of movies such as Atomic Blonde, Bullet Train, and The Fall Guy, indeed one of the benchmarks for contemporary Hollywood action cinema. Entitled in a decidedly explicit way How to Rob a Bank, the film — written by Mark Bianculli — sits within the now richly developed “eat the rich” cinema trend that uses the genre’s tools to reflect the increasingly intolerable socio-economic inequalities of our world. And indeed, the story follows a gang of robbers who, through social media, make viral their exploits as acts of protest against an unjust and unequal system. With online fame, however, come the pursuers: a veteran FBI agent and a brilliant computer engineer, who grow ever closer to the robbers. But despite this, the criminal group pushes beyond its own limits, risking everything for their beliefs and for their most ambitious heist to date.
Starring Nicholas Hoult, Zoë Kravitz, John C. Reilly, Anna Sawai and Pete Davidson, How to Rob a Bank will be distributed by Eagle Pictures. This is its new official Italian trailer.
