A temporal portal to return to the place where it all began, to the origins of the 883 myth, on a journey through music, memories, and pop culture. Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 October, Pelota in Milan, at 10 Via Palermo, in the heart of Brera, will transform into a real gateway directly into the nineties, toward the world of Max Pezzali and Mauro Repetto. The occasion is the launch of Nord Sud Ovest Est – The Legendary Story of 883, Sky Original series by Sydney Sibilia, arriving from October 9, 2026, exclusively on Sky and streaming only on NOW.
A Journey Through the History of 883: The Milan Event
For an entire weekend, Sky and NOW invite fans, as well as curious passersby who grew up with 883’s songs, to embark on a journey through the places, the music, and the imagery that accompanied the band from Pavia. The experience will be open to the public from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday, with free admission and no registration required. The only exception will be the party organized for Saturday evening, for which free registration will be needed via Eventbrite (at the link https://www.eventbrite.com/e/2002115201463?aff=oddtdtcreator).
From Los Angeles to Pavia in the Footsteps of Max and Mauro
All you have to do is pass through the doors of Pelota Jai Alai to begin a journey through the locations featured in the video of Nord Sud Ovest Est, and then return to Italy, to Pavia, where it all started. The itinerary is designed to engage the audience through interactive installations, sets inspired by the series and the video, live music, games, merchandise and numerous photo opportunities. The journey will begin at check-in, where each visitor will be invited to take their own “883 flight” destined for Los Angeles, the city where Max Pezzali and Mauro Repetto shot the video for Nord Sud Ovest Est in 1993. Once in the Californian city, it will be possible to take a photo beside the famous red Cadillac from the video. In the Desert Area, meanwhile, the Dance Cabin will allow you to record mini-videos inspired by Mauro Repetto’s iconic dance moves, to share directly on social media. The heart of the American experience will be Plaza Messicana, inspired by the video of Nord Sud Ovest Est: a large space with a stage and continuous entertainment that will host mariachis, dancers, the 883 tribute band, and DJ sets by Radio Deejay.
From America we will return to Italy, to Pavia, the city where the 883 story began. Here two of the series’ most iconic environments will be recreated: the tavern-like basement used by Max and Mauro as a recording room, where you’ll be able to record your own lip-sync performances to 883 songs, and Max’s bedroom, which will host a gaming experience inspired by the 1990s. There will also be the chance to take a photo “inside” the iconic cover of the Nord Sud Ovest Est album.
The Meeting with Elia Nuzzolo and Matteo Oscar Giuggioli and the ’90s Party with Max Pezzali
The weekend program also includes special moments with the series’ stars. On Saturday, October 3, around 12:30 p.m., Elia Nuzzolo and Matteo Oscar Giuggioli, who portray Max Pezzali and Mauro Repetto respectively, will meet with the fans. The two actors will talk with the audience to share curiosities and behind-the-scenes details of the production. It will be an opportunity to revisit the tale of a friendship, of dreams, and of the successes that accompanied the rise of Max Pezzali and Mauro Repetto.
Saturday evening, Pelota will become a true ’90s party. Doors open at 9 p.m., and access to the evening requires free registration on Eventbrite. The party will kick off with the Pezza Band, the 883 tribute band, performing a live set that will retrace the band’s history. The night will then continue with a Deejay Set produced in collaboration with Radio Deejay and with DJ Shorty on the decks, who will accompany the crowd until midnight. The most awaited moment will arrive around 10:30 p.m., when the audience will finally meet the real Max Pezzali.
