As soon as we hear his name, we immediately associate it with the acclaimed Prime Video series, Reacher. But Alan Ritchson, even before becoming the ex-military drifter Jack Reacher, has acted in other famous TV series and played other roles. All of us are used to seeing Alan Ritchson in the role of the drifter and ex-military Jack Reacher. But the actor, born in 1982, from Grand Forks, North Dakota, over the years has taken part in other famous TV series that, if you haven’t seen them yet, we recommend watching them all in one go!
Initially a model for Abercrombie & Fitch and for an online lingerie store, he debuts as an actor in the early 2000s in the TV series Smallville where he portrays the role of Aquaman. After a few small parts in some films and TV series, in 2010 he becomes one of the leads of the series Blue Mountain State in the role of the football team captain Thad Castle, a character decidedly iconic precisely for his exaggerated and egocentric personality, the star of the series’ most absurd gags.
In the years that followed he took part in several films for cinema including The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, The Wedding Ringer: A Best Man for Hire, before returning to TV in 2018 in the series Titans where he plays Hank Hall, also known as Hawk, until 2021. Here his character is a vigilante haunted by the traumas of the past and the physical pains caused by years of street fighting.
