November 1963: Trailer for Roland Joffé’s Film Starring John Travolta About Kennedy’s Assassination and the Mafia

In America November 1963 is distributed by Ketchup Entertainment, to whom we are grateful for having saved that gem Coyote vs. Acme, while in Italy it arrives with Eagle Pictures, which will bring it to theaters on December 3. Directed by the Oscar-nominated Roland Joffé and written by Nicolas Celozzi, nephew of the Chicago mob boss Sam Giancana, the film takes us behind the scenes of the 48 hours leading up to the assassination, in Dallas, of the Democratic president John Fitzgerald Kennedy (the dynamics of which has been brought to the screen by the remarkable film JFK by Oliver Stone). This time however it centers on the involvement of organized crime in that terrible attack. In the cast there are John Travolta, Robert Carlyle, Dermot Mulroney, Mandy Patinkin and Jefferson White. And the official trailer has been released, which we present to you.

November 1963 and the Mafia’s Involvement in Kennedy’s Assassination

The peculiarity of November 1963 is precisely that it is based on first-hand accounts from the family of the Chicago boss Sam Giancana, and to explore the alleged agreement between Joe Kennedy, father of John Fitzgerald, and the so-called Chicago Outfit, the criminal organization that would help him get elected president, on the condition of not being disturbed in its shady business, up to deadly betrayal. With a secret plan, a second sniper hidden in the shadows and a sacrificial victim chosen to take the blame, November 1963 reveals a side of JFK’s assassination rarely seen before: a president, two snipers, a conspiracy that changed history.
