Off Campus 2 Official Release Date Revealed: All Cast Members Return Except One

The Briar College reopens its doors and the Off Campus hockey team is ready to hit the ice again. Prime Video has finally revealed the release date for the eagerly anticipated second season of the young adult series that has become one of the platform’s biggest hits. Don’t plan anything else: the appointment is set for April 28, 2027, so less than a year after the debut of the first season (an especially short interval for a production destined for streaming). The announcement came together with the confirmation of the cast for the new episodes, in which almost all of the first season’s main players will return. There is, however, one absence that will not go unnoticed: Josh Heuston, who portrayed Hannah’s crush in the first season, does not appear among the confirmed cast members. Here is everything we know about the plot, the cast, and the returns.

Off Campus 2, the plot: Dean and Allie will be the new lead couple

Created by Louisa Levy and drawn from the bestselling literary universe by Elle Kennedy, Off Campus is set at a college and tells the story of an elite ice hockey team and the women who become part of the players’ lives. Between love, disappointments, friendships, and self-discovery, the protagonists face the challenges and transformations that accompany the transition into adulthood. The second season will center the love story between Allie Hayes (Mika Abdalla) and Dean Di Laurentis (Stephen Kalyn). We will thus see one of the relationships most anticipated by readers of Elle Kennedy’s novels, which had already begun to take shape in the closing episodes of the first season. The narrative choice is particularly interesting for those who know the literary saga. The series, in fact, has decided to rearrange the order of the adaptations relative to the original books, advancing the story of Dean and Allie, told in the third novel, The Score. In the novels, the second volume, The Mistake, is instead devoted to the relationship between John Logan and Grace Ivers. The series, however, chose to give precedence to Dean and Allie.

Off Campus 2, the cast: Almost everyone returns

Along with the release date, Prime Video has also officialized the cast for the second season. The news will make fans happy: practically all the main protagonists from the first chapter will return, with a single exception among the regular cast. Josh Heuston will not be part of this season, as he played Hannah’s crush, the character Ella Bright, in a narrative arc during the first season. Confirmed, however, are Mika Abdalla in the role of Allie Hayes and Stephen Kalyn as Dean Di Laurentis, the new lead couple. Naturally, we will also see Ella Bright back as Hannah and in the role of Garrett, as well as Antonio Cipriano, who will return to portray John Logan, and Jalen Thomas Brooks, again in the role of John Tucker.

Among the new regular cast members is India Fowler, who will portray Grace Ivers, John Logan’s love interest. Several recurring characters from the first season will also return: Julia Sarah-Stone will reprise Jules, John Logan’s non-binary younger sister who runs the college Briar gossip account, while Khobe Clarke will resume the role of Beau Maxwell, Dean’s friend and Joanna Maxwell’s brother. Also confirmed is Miles Gutierrez-Riley as Dexter, Hannah’s friend. Among the recurring new entries will be Philipa Soo, who will play Scarlett, a theatre artist recruited to direct an original show in the college’s theatre department. Guest stars will also appear. Charlie Evans will return as Hunter Davenport, Dean’s hockey rival since their high school days, while Shay Rudolph will portray Summer, Dean’s younger sister.

Off Campus, a record-breaking success: 36 million viewers in 12 days

The swift return of Off Campus is also the result of the tremendous success achieved by the first season. The series captured audiences from its debut, reaching 36 million viewers worldwide in the first 12 days after release. A result that earned it third place among the most-watched debut seasons in Prime Video history. But there is another particularly significant record: Off Campus became the most-watched debut season ever on the platform among female audiences aged 18 to 34. The success did not end in the initial weeks. Six months after its debut, the series continued to rank among the ten most-watched productions globally on Prime Video. In the week of October 26, 2026, it was still sixth in the global rankings.
