The Mission of Percy Jackson at Lucca Comics & Games: Three Worlds, Three Symbols, One Prophecy
In Piazza della Magione, in Lucca, Disney+ has installed the pavilion devoted to Percy Jackson and the Olympians. As soon as you step inside, clutching the official mission map in your hands, every visitor ceases to be a mere spectator and becomes a true demigod ready to prove themselves. The interactive journey is structured as an initiatory trek through the pivotal milestones of the Half-Blood Camp’s champions. The first challenge unfolds in the Thalia Forest where, wielding the spear and awakening the lightning, participants claim the first symbol. The second stop brings visitors before Percy’s waterfall: by performing the correct gesture, the water seems to respond to the call of the sea god, unlocking the second symbol. Finally, under the vaulted sky of Annabeth’s heavens, fans must raise their arms to symbolically bear the weight of the sky and receive the final mark. After collecting all three symbols—the thunderbolt, the trident, and the owl—the final test guides the audience straight to the Oracle’s table. There, under evocative lighting, the mysteries are revealed, completing a mission that revives the magic of Rick Riordan’s literary saga and its television adaptation.
Percy Jackson at Lucca Comics & Games: October 30 and 31 Appointments with the Cast and Gathering at Camp Half-Blood
Surprises for fans do not end with the immersive experience. Disney+ brings the series’ actors to Lucca for the first time. Friday, October 30, at 10:00 a.m., at the Teatro del Giglio, a panel dedicated to the third season is on the schedule. Attending the event will be Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries, and Aryan Simhadri, who portray Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase, and Grover Underwood, alongside Jonathan E. Steinberg, co-creator and executive producer of the series, and Dan Shotz, executive producer. The program will continue on Saturday, October 31, at 2:00 p.m., in Piazza San Michele, with the Gathering at Camp Half-Blood – Percy Jackson and the Olympians, a fan gathering for series enthusiasts, with surprises for all participants.
Teasers for the Third Season
The third season adapts The Titan’s Curse, the third novel in Rick Riordan’s best-selling series published in the United States by Disney Hyperion and in Italy by Mondadori. The stakes will be higher than ever. Percy will have to confront the sudden disappearance of Annabeth and the looming fulfillment of the Great Prophecy spoken by the Oracle of Delphi, a prophecy set to determine the future of Olympus. According to the prophecy, a demigod, child of one of the Big Three, will be called to choose between the victory and the ruin of Olympus, risking their life.
