After nine seasons, Scrubs – Doctors on the Front Lines returned to streaming with a tenth-season revival on Disney+ that rekindled the public’s fever for JD, Turk and Elliot, once again portrayed by Zach Braff, Donald Faison and Sarah Chalke. Following the success of the first revival season, a second is on the horizon and, according to Braff, will not shy away from further returns. But who will we see in the upcoming episodes?
Scrubs, Zach Braff teases the guest stars expected for the second season revival on Disney+
Fans should anticipate several guest stars in the second-season revival of Scrubs, the eleventh in the show’s television chronology. The details were shared by Zach Braff, who even named a few to pique the audience’s curiosity. In a conversation with People, to combat the waiting, he admitted: “All of this is for the fans, so we wanted to start with their favorites.” But who exactly?
The information didn’t take long to arrive: “Scott Foley is definitely one of the fans’ favorites. Obviously, Neil Flynn can’t be a permanent member of the cast at the moment, but he is still greatly loved. We’re looking to include more Neil Flynn, and also John C. McGinley and Judy Reyes, even though both are busy on other very popular series. So we’re really keeping the fans in mind and aiming to start with the most-loved names to then add others later.” Donald Faison, for his part, admitted: “I’m getting calls from quite a few people who haven’t managed to get back on set yet.”
Thus, according to Braff’s statements, the upcoming season of Scrubs should also involve Neil Flynn, albeit in a reduced role, John C. McGinley and Judy Reyes. Scott Foley had already confirmed his involvement at the start of 2026, bringing Sean Kelly back on screen.
