Streaming TV Releases This Week: Dexter: Resurrection 2 and Updates from October 26

Last week of the month is here, but there are plenty of streaming dates to mark on the calendar: which TV series are available from October 26 to November 1, 2026? Let’s explore together all the new releases across NOW, Prime Video, Netflix, Paramount+, Disney+, HBO Max, and Apple TV.

Netflix TV Series

The One About Matthew Perry

On Netflix you can watch The One About Matthew Perry, a docuseries dedicated to the late Friends star who, for many viewers, will always be remembered as the iconic Chandler Bing. Three years after his passing, which occurred on October 28, 2023, a docuseries has been produced with the aim of telling the story of the man behind the character, his life away from the Friends spotlight, and the various obstacles he faced and overcame. Comprising three episodes, the docuseries is available on Netflix from October 27, 2027, and reconstructs Matthew Perry’s life through never-before-seen footage and archival material sourced from his family, featuring his closest people, such as his sister Mia and friends Roger Castillo and David Pressman.

FOMO

Starting October 31, 2026, FOMO – Fear Of Missing Out becomes available for streaming on Netflix, an Italian docuseries initially released on RaiPlay and now also available on Netflix, which chronicles the lives of a group of Roman teenagers who attend Vittoria Colonna High School. The title evokes the English acronym Fear Of Missing Out, referring to a social anxiety centered on the fear of being left out, marked by a constant worry about missing something. In this series, a group of students is followed from the first to the last day of their final year of high school, navigating friendships, first loves, future anxieties, and decisions that could change everything.

New TV Series on NOW

Mrs. Wolf 3

The dates for Mrs. Wolf, the Italian-British crime thriller, return as its third season becomes available for streaming on NOW from October 28, 2026. The story centers on Sylvia, a former British spy who, due to family matters, finds herself in Italy and chooses not to leave, stepping into the role of a detective. The role is portrayed by Emilia Fox, who returns for a third season marked by new killings and mysteries from the past. After recovering from the tragic events of the second season, Sylvia resumes operations following the murder of a local winery owner and the mysterious death of a young man whose body was found in the bed of a high-society couple.

The Institute

Adapted from Stephen King’s The Institute, this thriller series is also available for streaming on NOW starting October 31, 2026. The protagonist is Luke Ellis, a boy who is abducted in the middle of the night from his own bed and forced to a facility designed for special children, those endowed with psychic powers. At the Institute, Luke discovers that there is much more beneath the surface and that the Institute’s objectives could pose a real threat. The cast includes Ben Barnes and Joe Freeman.

TV Series This Week on Paramount+

Dexter: Resurrection 2

Welcome back, Dexter Morgan. The second season of Dexter: Resurrection becomes available for streaming on Paramount+ from October 30, a Halloween-perfect timing. Again portrayed by Michael C. Hall, Dexter returns to the small screen once more grappling with his son Harrison. The story takes place after the events of Dexter: New Blood, the first Dexter spin-off, and follows the title character after a miraculous recovery from a gunshot wound that nearly proved fatal. The blow was delivered by his own son. The second season will see the beloved serial killer face two new adversaries and another unseen foe: a midlife crisis.
