RFDS – Doctors from the Sky, Season 3

On NOW the appointment with RFDS – Doctors from the Sky returns with its third season, available from August 26, 2026, and ready to tell the story of men and women willing to do anything to save others. An Australian TV series inspired by true emergency and rescue stories from the outback, it follows tales of doctors, nurses and pilots all ready to play their part.

New TV Series Releases on Apple TV

Dark Matter: Season 2

Created by Blake Crouch, Dark Matter is a science fiction thriller returning to streaming on Apple TV with its second season starting from August 26, 2026. Based on the 2016 novel of the same name, it tells the story of a Chicago physicist whose life is completely upended when he encounters an alternate version of himself in his own reality. The second season will see the Dessen family on the run again.

What TV Series Are Coming to Disney+

Chernobyl: Inside the Meltdown

On Disney+ from August 26, 2026 is available the National Geographic docuseries Chernobyl: Inside the Meltdown. Comprising four episodes, it tells what happened in the 24 hours after the disaster, with survivors recounting the events.

Studio Battaglia

On Disney+ from August 26, 2026 is also available the first season of Studio Battaglia, an Italian series originally aired on Rai 1 and directed by Simone Spada featuring Barbora Bobulova as Anna Battaglia, the elder sister who left the family studio to work for the rival Zander.

Libera

Another Italian TV series coming to Disney+ from August 26, 2026 is Libera. The first season was broadcast in primetime on Rai 1 and is also available for streaming on Disney+ with eight episodes published to date, telling the story of Libera Orlando, a judge in Trieste, who searches for the person responsible for the death of Bianca, her daughter, which occurred fifteen years earlier.

One Hundred Years of Solitude, Season 2 Part 2

The first part of the second season of One Hundred Years of Solitude arrived on Netflix on August 5, 2026, while the second part consists of a finale episode lasting two hours, serving as the epilogue to the Buendía saga and is available from August 26, 2026. Launched in 2024 as a Colombian series distributed by Netflix, it is adapted from the novel of the same name by Gabriel Garcia Marquez and chronicles the tormented fortunes of the Buendía family.

Beauty in Black: Season 3

From August 27, 2026 on Netflix is available the third season of Beauty in Black, an American soap opera created and directed by Tyler Perry that tells the story of two very different women from distinct social backgrounds, each facing significant challenges.

Leanne: Season 2

Netflix also brings back Leanne, returning with the second season of the sitcom from August 27, 2026, starring once again Leanne Morgan and her family. Just as with the first season, the second aims to follow Leanne through her daily life, addressing family dramas and unpredictable situations with lightness.

All the Truths of My Lies

Spanish miniseries available on Netflix from August 28, 2026, All the Truths of My Lies is adapted from the eponymous novel and tells the story of Coco and Marin, inseparable friends and roommates who decide to embark with other friends to celebrate Blanca’s bachelorette party. Compelled to share a caravan for the occasion, living together will heighten tensions among the group and bring underlying discomfort to light. The miniseries comprises five episodes and stars Itziar Manero and Daniel Ibanez.

What to Watch This Week on PARAMOUNT+

Dalliance – Life Is a Complicated Affair

On Paramount+ from August 27, 2026 is available Dalliance – Life Is a Complicated Affair, a six-episode dramedy that follows the story of Bill, a retired former cameraman, and chef Dan. The two meet unexpectedly on a ferry in the port of Sydney, and that encounter triggers something in their lives, shaking up years of friendships and family relationships. In the cast are Hugh Weaving and Heather Mitchell.
