The Adventures of Cliff Booth: Peter Weller Invites You to Watch Him in IMAX (Video)

On November 26, it will hit our cinemas, including IMAX, before its Netflix release, The Further Misadventures of Cliff Booth, the eagerly awaited new film from David Fincher, his first since Mank, which is also a project tied to Quentin Tarantino, since the screenplay is his and it is a spin-off of the stuntman character played by Brad Pitt in Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood. As is well known, Tarantino did not want his tenth film to be an unoriginal work, so the direction of this screenplay was entrusted to David Fincher, strongly requested by Pitt, who has already been directed by him in Se7en and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Meanwhile, the original title has changed, and it’s much more striking because it’s an ironic nod to the titles of certain eighteenth‑century epic novels: “The Further Misadventures of Cliff Booth.” Telling us about the film, heartily inviting us to see it in theaters before it arrives on the platform, is Dr. Peter Weller (a doctor for a good reason: the former Robocop is educated, a scholar, and the author of books on art history), who in the movie plays the father of Brad Pitt’s character. He does so in the video you can watch below, outside Tarantino’s New Beverly Cinema, with words that, if you have any difficulty, we translate for you.
