The Hunting Wives Renewed for Season 3 Ahead of Season 2 Premiere

Netflix is going all out for this series. Last year the debut of ‘The Hunting Wives’ caught many of us by surprise with a flawless first season, one of the best surprises of 2025. Its success was evident from the swift renewal for a second season, but stay tuned because bets on it are stronger than ever: Netflix has already renewed its third season, and that is more than a month away from the second’s premiere.

The news will catch many by surprise, but not so much the show’s creator, Rebecca Cutter. We don’t know what events will unfold in the second season, but perhaps we should brace for a major cliffhanger based on what she teases. “I’m excited to return to Maple Brook, and I promise you that once you finish the second season you’ll be desperate to know what happens next,” the showrunner assured, aiming to whet our appetites. “Brace yourselves, because the third season is going to be even more scandalous and twisted.”

Expanding the Story

The second season of ‘Las esposas cazadoras’ isn’t far from its premiere, but it isn’t something that will happen in a matter of days either. Its Netflix debut is scheduled for the future November 26, 2026, more than a month and a half after this article was published. It will bring back the adventures of Brittany Snow and Malin Akerman, who find themselves entangled in a plot of obsessions and murders deep in the heart of Texas.

The story will dare to go further than the book of the same name on which it is based, authored by May Cobb, and we can assume that the third season will take even more liberties.

Netflix Goes Big

The platform’s bet on the series is striking for how far ahead it is of the next season, but many of its strongest series have concluded in the last year. They need to back new licenses that can attract and keep millions of subscribers hooked, who, after endings like that of ‘Stranger Things’, need additional reasons to keep paying their subscription. At least they will be able to do so for a little less if they heed the right advice.
