It will arrive on Prime Video on December 18, The Ministry of Love, a comedy written and directed by Giacomo Ciarrapico and Luca Vendruscolo, which will have its world premiere at the Festa del cinema di Roma. Alongside the late Mattia Torre, the two authored a memorable series like Boris, and there is much anticipation surrounding this film, which also features many of the leading actors from that same cast. At the heart of the story is a couple played by Pif and Alessandra Mastronardi, and this is the official trailer for the film.
The Ministry of Love: plot and cast
Aldo (Pif) is a successful parliamentary journalist, immersed in the frenetic world of Roman politics. While he follows the country’s crises, he does not realize that the real emergency lies within him. In his mental universe, in fact, there exists an eccentric “inner council of ministers” that regulates every emotion, making decisions through decrees of the soul and sentimental laws. Everything changes when his relationship with Claudia (Alessandra Mastronardi) begins to crack. The crisis of his love triggers a genuine institutional collapse inside the “Aldo government,” forcing him to confront internal conflicts, repressed emotions, and emotional dilemmas. As you’ll have seen in the trailer, the other performers include Corrado Guzzanti, Angela Finocchiaro, Pietro Sermonti, Carlo De Ruggieri, Massimo De Lorenzo, Ninni Bruschetta, as well as Leonardo Lidi, Thomas Trabacchi and many others.
