Tom Cruise: The World’s Most Powerful Man and Perhaps His Only Savior — Watch Him in the Final Digger Trailer

“The most powerful man in the world embarks on a desperate mission to prove that he is humanity’s savior, before the disaster he himself caused destroys everything.”
Less than a month after his arrival on our screens, these two lines are the only ones in the official plot of Digger, but they are more than enough to truly whet our appetite for the new film directed by Oscar-winner Alejandro G. Iñárritu, featuring Tom Cruise in a version that is genuinely unprecedented. Beside him in the cast there are Riz Ahmed, John Goodman, Sandra Hüller, Michael Stuhlbarg, Jesse Plemons, Robert John Burke, Emma D’Arcy, Burn Gorman and Sophie Wilde.
Digger will arrive in our cinemas on October 1 with Warner Bros. Pictures, and this below is the final trailer for the film:

The film was directed by Iñárritu from a screenplay he co-wrote with Oscar® winners Alexander Dinelaris and Nicolás Giacobone, along with Sabina Berman, based on a story conceived by Iñárritu himself with Berman. The movie is produced by Iñárritu, by Oscar-nominated Mary Parent, by Tom Cruise and Michael Sharp, with Joshua Grode, Berman, Dinelaris, Giacobone, Jez Butterworth and Emmanuel Lubezki serving as executive producers.

Joining Iñárritu behind the camera are some of his longtime collaborators: the Oscar®-winning director of photography Emmanuel Lubezki; editors Conor O’Neill and Oscar®-winning Stephen Mirrione; Oscar®-nominated costume designer Jacqueline West; Oscar-winning makeup and hair designer Alessandro Bertolazzi and Oscar-nominated casting director Francine Maisler. Completing the creative team are the Oscar®-winning production designer Dennis Gassner and the production designer Richard Johnson, the Oscar-winning prosthetic makeup designer Kazu Hiro and the composer Cosmo Sheldrake.
