Tracker 4: Trailer Ignites the Fuse as Colter Prepares for a New Challenge

“For Colter Shaw, no task is too big.” CBS uses these unimpeccable words to present the trailer for the fourth season of Tracker, which premieres in the United States on October 4 (Italy will follow later on Disney+). The series starring Justin Hartley, the most-watched on American television, returns with new cases, dangers, and twists.

Tracker: How Season 4 Begins

The fourth season of Tracker opens with the episode Safe Harbor, which presents Colter with a routine case: the search for a missing person. It concerns the father of a teenager, a search that leads the protagonist to a dangerous criminal organization at the Port of Los Angeles. The photo above offers a glimpse of Colter back in action.

At the end of the previous season, Colter collaborated with his brother Russell (Jensen Ackles) to shed light on their father’s past and the activities that preceded his death. The investigations revealed a government-sponsored program of experiments that could have involved Colter directly. McIntyre, a member of the program, handed Russell a dossier on their father, revealing to him that what had been discovered about what the man had done to Colter was true. In exchange for his silence and the promise to protect his brother, Russell agreed to take care of a problem for McIntyre, without informing Colter.

The season thus ended with Colter at home, busy repairing his father’s car with Keaton, unaware of what Russell had just discovered. For the moment, everything seems back to normal, but we know the matter is far from closed. Ackles, indeed, will return in the new episodes, as we previously noted in this earlier report.
