The new official Italian trailer for Whalefall: Into the Whale is online, the survival thriller based on Daniel Kraus’s eponymous book that chronicles the encounter of a young man with a gigantic whale. The new film from 20th Century Studios and Imagine Entertainment will arrive in Italian theaters on October 15.
Directed by Brian Duffield, with a screenplay by Brian Duffield and Daniel Kraus, the film, starring Austin Abrams, Josh Brolin, Elisabeth Shue, John Ortiz, Jane Levy and Emily Rudd, follows the young Jay Gardiner (Austin Abrams), who, after the death of his father (Josh Brolin), dives off the central California coast in search of his remains but is swallowed by a giant whale. While trapped inside its belly with only an hour of oxygen left, Jay realizes that the lessons his father hard-earned may be the key to his escape.
The film’s producers are Brian Grazer, p.g.a., Brian Duffield, p.g.a., Jeb Brody, Allan Mandelbaum, p.g.a., while Doug Merrifield, Richard Abate and Will Rowbotham are the executive producers.
