It will have its preview in the Grand Public section of the twenty-first edition of the Festa del Cinema di Roma 2026, scheduled from October 13 to 25, Rocky Is Me, the film directed by Peter Farrelly, which tells the true story of an unknown actor convinced he was not born to write Rocky, but to be Rocky Balboa!
To play a young Sylvester Stallone we find the young actor Anthony Ippolito, who in 2022 had already given the face to another cinema icon Al Pacino, in Paramount+’s miniseries The Offer. Joining him in the cast are Anna Sophia Robb, Matt Dillon, Stephan James and Tracy Letts.
The film is expected to hit our cinemas from December 31 next year, distributed by Eagle Pictures. In the meantime below you’ll find the official Italian trailer of the film:
