VisionQuest Linked to Daredevil: Which Reckless Character Is Involved?

VisionQuest has finally revealed a few more details about the plot that the third chapter of the Wanda Trilogy will tackle on streaming on Disney+. Paul Bettany is back in the MCU once again as the lead, but this time grappling with an identity crisis. After what happened in WandaVision, Vision is more confused than ever, and the trailer not only highlights his struggle but introduces several threats, including a bounty hunter whose origins are closely tied to another Marvel antihero.

VisionQuest, the trailer features a Daredevil character: who is it?

Scheduled to stream on Disney+ from October 14, 2026, VisionQuest will primarily focus on Vision after WandaVision and Agatha All Along, concluding this television trilogy. As he seeks to understand more about his own identity, Vision continues to interact with characters like Ultron, who in this iteration takes the human form of James Spader, and he even discovers that his son Tommy, born in WandaVision, might still be alive somewhere. Thanks to Agatha All Along, we know that his brother Wiccan is also alive, really exists, and is himself pursuing the twin Tommy, proving that their mother Scarlet Witch was right all along: his children were indeed scattered.

Another character briefly seen in the first VisionQuest trailer creates a link to Daredevil: it’s Paladin, played by Todd Stashwick, who in the comics interacts within Daredevil’s dynamics, becoming an enemy. Paladin is a mercenary and highly skilled bounty hunter who often takes jobs that pit him against superheroes, and it seems that in VisionQuest he will be hunting the protagonist himself.

In the comics, Paladin appeared in Daredevil volume 150 in 1978, introduced as a professional mercenary with exceptional fighting abilities, advanced equipment, and the willingness to work for the highest bidder, often pushing him into conflict with other characters like Daredevil and The Punisher.
